TERMS AND CONDITIONS
At Jepson Myles Studio, we prioritise your satisfaction and aim to provide you with all necessary information prior to your booking. By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read and fully comprehended the contents of this document. If you have any concerns or queries about our terms, please request clarification in writing before proceeding with your booking.
Payment and Booking: Jepson Myles Photography accepts payment for services, studio hire, or production via immediate bank transfer. Last-minute bookings (less than seven days in advance) require immediate payment of the full amount. Upon receipt of the deposit, the date(s) will be confirmed and secured. Failure to pay the deposit in time may result in the loss of the proposed date. Although Jepson Myles Photography can hold dates provisionally, if another customer places their deposit before you and requests the date, the booking will be given to them. The remaining 50% (the balance) is due upon arriving at the studio. All files will not be released unless the balance has been paid in full.
Rescheduling Policy : We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we will always do our best to accommodate your needs. To reschedule to a weekday, there will be a R1000 fee to cover the additional costs involved and R1500 for last minute rescheduling. to reschedule to a weekend, we request a 50% deposit of the total amount to ensure the time slot is reserved for you again In the event of a late arrival exceeding 30 minutes, we may need to reschedule your shoot based on the above rates to a different date to maintain our schedule and accommodate all clients.
Refund and Cancellation Policy: If you choose to cancel your shoot before the date, 50% of the package booked is non-refundable. In terms of cancellation from Jepson Myles Photography, you will be given a notice with all the amount paid in full, or the service will be redirected to someone better or equal to the skillset to handle/complete the job. For refunds for work that is in progress, all costs and expenses acquired will be subtracted from the overall amount paid for the job. All services or products booked by Jepson Myles Photography for the shoot/s are non-refundable. Jepson Myles Photography shall not be held accountable for any losses due to rescheduling, cancellation, or loss of data. Jepson Myles shall not be held accountable for any lost data in situations that are beyond its control, such as theft, weather conditions, accidents, negligence of its stuff or whatsoever reason or cause.
Photographs/Images: For all the photos produced for this invoice, you agree that Copyright belongs to Jepson Myles Studio once you pay your booking fee. This means Jepson Myles Studio has full ownership of the RAW files/photographs, retouched photographs, and all final photographs for delivery in digital format as well as hard copy. All content produced by Jepson Myles shall not be used for any monetary reasons without written permission from the creator. In addition:
-Your photos will be used for educational, marketing purposes.
-Any posting/publishing of the RAW without written permission from the photographer is highly prohibited.
-Any posting/publishing of unedited photos by the photographer is highly prohibited.Jepson Myles Studio understands that some clients may require access to RAW files for specific purposes. In such cases, Jepson Myles Studio may provide access to RAW files upon request of what they intent to do and for an additional fee. The additional fee will cover the time and effort required to prepare and export the RAW files, as well as the potential loss of artistic control over the images.
Crediting the Photographer: It will be appreciated if you credit Jepson Myles Photography.
After the Shoot Service Cancellation: If you wish to request a refund after the shoot has been completed, full costs acquired not at package rate but at full rate for the shoot will be subtracted from the fees that were paid, it is so important to understand that some packages are set and discounted down by 25% of their actual value. This includes makeup, dress hire, admin fees, studio time or studio rental fee, and time of the photographer. The package you have taken will be broken down for all cost allocations, and the remainder will be reimbursed to you. A fee for deliverables (final digital photos) will be charged if the retouching has not been done already. If the job is completed, no refunds will be made.
